 Easter Pajamas

Ya'll might have noticed by now, I have a thing for Holiday pajamas. I can't help it. They are just so cute, & I love looking back at the photos taken on those holidays and seeing them in their little-themed pajamas! Although, they aren't so little anymore! Finding toddler Easter pajamas was a lot easier than finding bigger sizes. I am not sure why clothing companies think that after size 2T children no longer like cute stuff that isn't neon & sequin ha! 

I tried to find options for a wide range since I, myself am shopping for a wide range! I love it when stores have baby, toddler & kid sizes! Of course, bonus points if there is a family option!

A lot of these stores have codes right now for money off so get them now!  

Don't forget Easter is in March this year!

 Easter Baskets

There are so many options for Easter baskets anymore. Traditional wicker, plastic, plush buckets & I even see lots of fun nonconventional Easter baskets like pools, sand buckets etc. Whatever you choose, here are some ideas if you are looking!

For us, we decided to invest in a good quality basket (THIS ONE)after having to replace the classic white basket every year, because it would break & was horrible quality the first few years of the girls' lives. Now, each kiddo has a basket that will last every Easter. I also feel like a white basket never goes out of style, & there is lots of options for liners if you want to switch it up! I feel like though it was more pricey up front, we are going to save in the long run! I think the girls have had theirs for about 5-6 years or more and even if we were to of bought a $10 basket every year we would have already saved money with lots of Easters left to go!

Kennedy's 13th Dolly Patron Birthday Party | Preppy Birthday Ideas | Surprise 13th Birthday Party | Limo + Hotel Birthday Party

I have a teenager. That is the craziest thing to write or say out loud. That also means, I have had this blog now over 13 years, which is even crazier. Since we did a new room makeover for her birthday {see that reveal HERE} there was no real plan for a party etc for her birthday. But, then as time got closer my mom and I both felt like we needed to celebrate her birthday in a big way. You only get to turn 13 once. However, because of Nutcracker season, it left us with no real time to celebrate, which happens every year. With my mom, we set up a surprise birthday party for her with her ballet friends after their first dress rehearsal.

First, they would be picked up from dress rehearsal in a limo, do a little drive around to have fun in the limo then be dropped off at a hotel for a sleepover. I was able to pull it off, somehow & she was so surprised! All the stress was worth it!

I picked a preppy / Dolly Parton theme & it was a hit! I will link all the party supplies that I can at the end of the blog post!

#mrsreads December Reads

 I did it!

I was very skeptical that I would make my goal for the year. I was a little overzealous even after moving my goal after having Hudson & I wasn't sure I would make it. But, I did! I am very proud of myself & I really thoroughly loved each book that I read, I think my lowest ranking was a 3 star this year!

All of December I stuck to Christmas reads & it made me so happy & got me in the spirit!

I upped my goal by just a bit for next year raising it to 40 books! I think that is pretty do able! I will up if it need be, but right now I think it's pretty attainable!

I will continue to post my monthly reads for you all to look back at. I am toying with bringing my reviews on here, in addition to on my GoodReads instead of just giving you the star rating if that is something you would like! Let me know!
